About the Presenter:
Dr. Heather Finley is a Registered Dietitian, gut health specialist and sought-after speaker on the topics of constipation, bloating, gut health, disordered eating and how all of these topics intersect.
Her clients often come to her as a last resort, after feeling like they’ve tried everything. Dr. Heather loves helping clients go from restricted with food and frustrated with their symptoms to empowered, transformed and free.

Description of Presentation:
In this presentation, Dr. Finley will discuss the common GI symptoms that present in eating disorder clients, and how to navigate them utilizing nutrition, lifestyle and supplemental interventions.
Learning Objectives:
Based on the content of the workshop participants will be able to (use Verbs such as “list, describe, identify, discuss, explain,” etc.:
1. Participants will be able to list the common causes for constipation, bloating, acid reflux gas and diarrhea in eating disorder clients
2. Participants will discuss solutions (nutrition, diet and lifestyle) to address common GI complaints with their clients
3. Participants will explain the order in which interventions should be implemented
