Raquel Hardman CSW

Raquel earned her master’s degree in social work with a mental health focus from the University of Utah, after completing an undergrad in social work and psychology, with certification in substance use disorder counseling. Embracing a client centered approach, her framework includes identifying socialization through self-reflection, nurturing the life’s narrative through self-discovery, and creating a life to include resilience and joy. Specializing in eating disorders, anxiety, depression, substance misuse, parenting and family dynamics, Raquel holds a strengths-based approach of empowering her clients through trauma-informed CBT, DBT, and ACT therapies, as well as encouraging self-differentiation. A Utahan her entire life, Raquel has been married to her husband for thirty plus years and has raised four bold and clever daughters. When she is not practicing, she enjoys chasing after her five grandchildren, gardening, swimming, and golfing whenever possible.
