Julie has been employed with Center for Change for over 8 years and is currently the Program Director at the Cottonwood Heights location.

Julie found herself drawn to assisting others with mental health issues early in life and has found that passion grow through school, work, and other experiences. She is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a special emphasis on counseling troubled teenagers, people with disabilities, substance abuse, domestic violence, and severe behavioral issues. Julie has training in DBT, substance abuse, attachment disorders, eating disorders and autism spectrum disorders with additional training on domestic violence issues.

She believes therapy is a universal language that transcends the barriers humanity faces in a mental health crisis. It helps her achieve her goal of helping others to live their best lives possible.
