Director of Program and Curriculum Development, Director of Inpatient Unit

Gerry Baird is the director of program and curriculum development as well as the clinical director of the inpatient unit. He is a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) and earned a Master of Professional Counseling degree from Grand Canyon University in 2020. Prior to joining the Center for Change team, he spent two years working with a variety of therapy clients at a group practice providing outpatient services. While finishing his counseling degree, Gerry completed trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. He has extensive experience using these modalities to work with trauma and recently completed training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Lifespan Integration (LI) and Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT). He is currently pursuing the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification. In his spare time, Gerry enjoys reading, writing, playing piano, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
