Description of Presentation:

This presentation aims to review the current research on the frequent use of social media in young people, the harms that it may cause, and strategies that can be usedto overcome barriers. For people with diabetes, the relationship can become overly complicated. Living with diabetes in the United States has several barriers to receive adequate healthcare to care for this chronic condition, so many turn to the internet for their go-to resource. We’ll discuss best practices to educate and inform your patients.
