This presentation will focus on clinical application of nutrition therapy in treating men/women with eating disorders. It will present the philosophy developed over 20 years and treatment of thousands of patients in an inpatient, residential treatment, day treatment and outpatient setting. It will emphasize tools, discussion topics, experiential activities and tips to assisting patients on the road to recovery. The presentation will present a soon-to-be-published two year prospective study on the ability of patients with anorexia nervosa, bulimia and eating disorder not otherwise specified to learn to eat intuitively.
