Tribole and Resch (2003) introduced a revolutionary dietary and nutritional approach to helping chronic dieters to manage their physical health by learning a “non-diet” approach of learning to “listen to their bodies” or “eating intuitively.”  This dietary approach has been successfully adapted into the dietary treatment of those diagnosed and suffering with formal eating disorders. McRaty and research team have suggested a parallel idea about managing mental and emotional health – that our “hearts” are connected to intuition, and that listening and attending to this intuition leads to good decisions and wisdom which positively impacts mental and emotional health. This webinar adapts the 10 principles of Intuitive Eating into a model of “Intuitive Living,” which includes listening to and following “self” or “heart.”
