Life has ups and downs, experiences we want to forget, and moments we wish we could live in forever. Celebrate Life Week is an opportunity to focus on the reasons we can choose to “go on” and embrace life. At times, women with eating disorders fear life, the pressures that accompany future responsibility, and/or growing up. Connecting or reconnecting with life after difficult experiences may also prove challenging.
This week, the Recreational and Experiential Therapies Department will focus on celebrating life, gratitude, hope, and tools to engage in a meaningful and balanced life socially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
