CMHS is recognized for promoting and maintaining a well-balanced education program and for meeting or exceeding standards considered essential for quality education.

iaedp Established in 1985, the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals(iaedp) is today well recognized for its excellence in providing first-quality education and high-level training standards to an international multidisciplinary group of various healthcare treatment providers and helping professions, who treat the full spectrum of eating disorder problems.

 

NATIONAL EATING DISORDER ASSOCIATION

 NEDA The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. We campaign for prevention, improved access to quality treatment, and increased research funding to better understand and treat eating disorders. We work with partners and volunteers to develop programs and tools to help everyone who seeks assistance.

 

THE EATING DISORDER COALITION

  The Eating Disorders Coalition for Research, Policy & Action is working in Washington, D.C., to increase awareness, educate policymakers, and promote understanding about the disabling and life-threatening effects of eating disorders. Our mission is to advance the federal recognition of eating disorders as a public health priority.

 

EATING DISORDER HOPE – HONORARY PATRON

Hope Eating Disorder Hope’s mission is to offer hope, information and resources to individual eating disorder sufferers, their family members and treatment providers. The organization began with the help and advice of colleagues, professors, and other organizations specializing in eating disorders. Eating Disorder Hope was founded in January, 2005.

 

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF THERAPEUTIC SCHOOLS AND PROGRAMS

NATSAP The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) was created in January of 1999 to serve as a national resource for programs and professionals assisting young people beleaguered by emotional and behavioral difficulties. NATSAP publishes a directory annually to inform professionals, programs, and families about the many residential placement alternatives available to help struggling young people.

 BBB The Better Business Bureau is a private agency formed in 1912. It operates in both Canada and the US. Its goal is to help consumers by publishing reports on the reliability of businesses, reducing fraudulent business activities, educating both companies and businesses about rights and responsibilities, providing information on charities, and resolving disputes.
