Gerry Baird MBA, MS, ACMHC

Program Director, Adult RTC

Gerry Baird is an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) who earned a Master of Professional Counseling degree from Grand Canyon University in 2020. Prior to joining the Center for Change team, he spent two years working with a variety of therapy clients, including children, at a Utah-based group practice providing outpatient services. Prior to that, Gerry worked as a care technician at a residential behavioral treatment facility. While finishing his counseling degree, Gerry also completed trainings in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. He has extensive experience using these modalities to work with trauma. After two years of doing general outpatient work, he decided to specialize in treating eating disorders and is currently pursuing the Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification. Gerry expects to be fully licensed in the summer of 2022, and in his spare time he enjoys reading, playing piano, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
