Sabrina Jarvis, DNP, FNP-BC, ACNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Sabrina Jarvis has been a nurse for 38 years and an acute care and family nurse practitioner for over 24 years. She graduated, in 1976, from Cochise College with her ADN, and in 1981, with her BSN degree from Grandview College. In 1990, she graduated valedictorian from Brigham Young University’s master’s nurse practitioner program and was one of the first adult critical care nurse practitioners in the country. She is a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She was the 2011 recipient of the Nursing Honor Society’s Sigma Theta Tau Excellence in Clinical Practice Award, 2007 recipient of the Utah Nurse Practitioner Award for Clinical Excellence, and the 2006 recipient of the Utah Nurse Practitioner Award for Excellence in Education. In 2010, Dr. Jarvis received her DNP degree from the University of Utah.
In 2013, Dr. Jarvis joined Center for Change as part of the medical clinical staff. She is also an Associate Teaching Professor at Brigham Young University in the College of Nursing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and participating in gardening, reading, and working with salt water aquariums.
