Elizabeth Thomas, CSW
Liz completed her undergraduate schooling at Brigham Young University, receiving a degree in Anthropology with a minor in Military Science. She then completed her Masters degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. As part of the degree requirements, she completed internships at Virginia Supportive Housing, and ChildSavers, a children’s outpatient clinic in Richmond Virginia. She also worked during graduate school at WellSpring, providing individual, group and family therapy for adolescents struggling with obesity and related eating disorders. Liz has provided intensive residential, and outpatient treatment for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, eating disorders and chronic mental illness. She is also currently serving as an officer in the US Army Reserves, and has over 12 years of both active and reserve military experience. Liz joined Center for Change in March of 2012 and provides individual, group, and family therapy.
