Sydney Dawson Ballstaedt, CSW

Originally from St. George Utah, Sydney is a graduate from the University of Utah Social Work program. In addition to receiving her Masters of Social Work at the University of Utah, she certified in substance use treatment as a special focus. Sydney is certified in cognitive behavioral therapy, Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and is passionate about working with clients who are struggling with substance use. Her approach involves cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing in additional to other clinical skills. Sydney is passionate about expressing unconditional positive regard for each of her clients and focuses on meeting clients where they are at in their recovery process and partnering with them to assist in their personal development. In her spare time, Sydney loves to be outside – hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
