
Betsy Stephenson CSW
Betsy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Brigham Young University in 2018. After graduation, she worked with children experiencing instability at home as well as at risk youth participating in a gang prevention program. Her work with these populations and her interest in social justice led her to pursue a career in social work, she graduated from the University of Utah with a Master of Social Work in 2021. She has worked with Center for Change since 2020 and is passionate about working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. Betsy is experienced working with CBT, ACT, and mindfulness as treatment modalities. She enjoys helping her clients develop increased self-compassion and identify their personal values in life. Using a feminist framework, she helps her patients to view the world with a new lens to detach themselves from their eating disorder. In her time away from work she enjoys being with her family, playing board games, birding, and trips to Disney World.
