Partial Hospitalization Program

Center for Change offers Partial Hospitalization treatment (PHP) at our Orem, UT, Salt Lake City, UT and Boise, ID locations and focuses on actively treating eating disorders, preventing relapse, improving body image, setting goals, facing fears and accomplishing specific social, vocational and educational tasks. The program is designed for individuals ages 15 and up who require a need for support and supervision during meals and individual treatment for underlying issues that cause the eating disorder.

PHP clients may need to restore weight and they require the need for structure, support and supervision around meals to disrupt eating disorder patterns and behaviors. These clients also receive the help needed to manage the underlying issues that caused the hospitalization for eating disorders. Many Day Program clients find this level of care helpful because they receive the support that they need during the day but have the freedom at night and during the weekends to try recovery at home, within the boundaries of their support system. This time away from the program structure allows the client to practice the skills and dietary challenges learned in the program.
