treatment for binge eating
Center For Change

Center for Change has a long-standing history of treating all kinds of eating disorders, including helping women who suffer with a binge-eating syndrome or pattern. We have a component in the inpatient and residential programs for compulsive eating and binge eating, as well as therapists and dieticians who specialize in compulsive eating and binge eating issues. We recognize that the underlying dynamics and emotional factors that are common in all eating disorders are evident in the binge
eating disorder as well. Our treatment approach is aggressive toward
the eating disorder, but at the same time, we provide emotional support, education, structure, and loving staff involvements in the process of recovery.
Here at Center For Change, our staff specializes in the treatment of binge eating disorder. We recognize that individuals suffering from binge eating disorder need to establish a regular pattern of eating to stop the binge eating, encouragement of healthy, but not excessive exercise, to improve their body image, and need the support of caring and nurturing staff to assist them on the road to recovery. We believe in a "non-diet approach" to normalize eating patterns and facilitate weight loss, if needed, and want to empower our patients with tools that will help them reclaim their lives and fight the diet downfall. We offer intensive inpatient and residential treatment of women with binge eating disorder that consists of individual and group therapy, individual nutritional counseling, medical care and monitoring, medication management, regular yoga and exercise groups, and a variety of experiential therapies.
