Nutrition Classes - Classes have specific topics but feel free to come with any nutrition question to discuss with the Dietitian or with others in the group. Come for a review or to begin your quest to eat healthy for life!
Time: At 5:00-6:00 pm every Tuesday (except Holidays) beginning June 27th.
Place: Center For Change (meet in lobby).
Cost: $10.00 per class (if seeing dietitian at least bimonthly, classes are free)
June 27th Intuitive Eating: The Ten Basic Principles, and the Hunger/Fullness Scale.
July 11th No "Good" or "Bad" Foods: The basic break-down of all foods into carbohydrate, protein, and fat.
July 18th Diet vs. Non-Diet Mentality: How to cope with the mixed messages the media sends us on body-size and dieting.
July 25th Are You Enjoying Food or Drowning in Food? A discussion on emotional eating.

A Center for Change DVD is available to interested clients and professionals working with women suffering with eating disorders. The new DVD includes video to get to know Center for Change, our comprehensive treatment programs, and our wonderful and loving staff, facility tour, client interviews, staff interviews and music composed and recorded by the Center for Change choir.
